Basic accommodation but everything one need is in the cottages - very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

Samson and his wife are from Malawi and they really took very good care of us. They both were very friendly, and helpful and quickly responded to any questions / missing items we could not find in the cottages. We appreciated the fact that this was "pet-friendly" accommodation.

Pleasant, not breathtakingly special.

The cottage is bitterly cold. It was considerably warmer outside, even at night when it was already cold outside. It can really do with some form of heating that warms up the inside of the cottage. The assistant was of little use, vanishing every time he was required.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. As discussed on the phone we deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our Karoo houses are naturally cold, and so is the weather. We do not provide electric heaters due to high rates of electricity. There were hot water bottles provided as well as an extra-thick blanket in the cupboard. We will use your feedback and provide electric blankets going forward. We do have an Agatha stove which is in perfect working condition, despite the door being somewhat loose. There is a utensil for it that permanently sits on top of the stove. However, we do feel deeply saddened by your review and we hope you return in the warm summer for a different perspective of our cottage. Regards, Chantal.
