Description

Mount Rose Self-catering Holiday House in Clarens offers all amenities, beautiful mountain views, and peaceful surroundings. The garden is fully fenced and small pets are welcome. The house is close to the centre of town and is within walking distance from restaurants, shops, and coffee shops.

Mount Rose sleeps 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 en-suite bathrooms, a guest toilet, a kitchen, dining and living area, verandah, and large garden.

The largest bedroom, Peace, is located on the upper level and contains a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a corner tub, a shower, hand basin in a cabinet and a toilet. The room also features 2 armchairs, built-in cupboards, coffee/tea making facilities, and a private balcony with 180-degree mountain views.

The second bedroom, Faith, is located on the middle level and has its own lockable entry passage from the interior of the house, in addition to an outside door and landing. This room contains a double bed, dressing table, armchair and book case and the bathroom has a shower with a hand basin and a toilet. There are built-in cupboards.

The third bedroom, Love, is also located on the middle level. This room has both an inside and an outside door and contains one queen-size bed, two armchairs, built-in cupboards, two dressing tables with chairs, and the en suite bathroom has a shower, basin and a toilet.

The fourth bedroom, Joy, the smallest bedroom, is located on the lower level. This room is ideal for children. The room contains 2 single beds, small cupboard, and both inside and outside doors. Guests have to share one of the other bathrooms - they can enter the bathroom at Faith without actually going through that bedroom.

The large kitchen is equipped with double oven, 4-plate electric hob, microwave oven, kettle, 4-slice toaster, coffee plunger, a fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, and washing machine. Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, and cooking and eating utensils, as well as a selection of glasses, are provided.

The living area is open-plan. The dining table seats 6 comfortably with 2 spare chairs available. The lounge has 3 large couches, side tables, central coffee table, a TV cabinet and a large wood-burning fireplace. Guests are welcome to bring their own DStv decoder and smartcard. Free unlimited Wi-Fi access is available. Large double doors open from both the dining area and the lounge onto a spacious roofed veranda with unobstructed views. There is a 8-seater table with chairs as well as a 2-seater bench on the veranda.

Entrance is through the double garage which opens by remote control and there is a burglar alarm also operated by a remote. The rest of the garden is fenced or walled, with 3 gates.
