Michelle was amazing en het ons so welkom laat voel. Alles was skoon en netjies en ons het elke dag skoon handdoeke gekry wat jy nie sommer altyd kry nie. Michelle het ons altyd op hoogte gehou oor loadshedding en oor waar om te eet om goeie waarde vir geld te kry.

The hostess was friendly and assisted with special requests. The cleanliness of the air conditioning and bathroom needs attention. Also, broken cupboards and dead plants added to the low score.

What an amazing stay! Very close to the beach and restaurants, peaceful and quiet. Friendly hosts and the room was always clean and tidy when we got back from the beach. Will definitely recommend this place!

Our stay was very pleasant. The room is equipped with a TV, coffee station, microwave, and fridge. It was neat and clean. We were met by the friendly and helpful staff, and Michelle was just a message away. The view is lovely.

Beslis waarde vir geld. Die plek was netjies skoon en die diens was uitstekend. Die eienaars was baie gasvry en het moeite gedoen om uit te vind of ons tevrede was met alles. Ek sal beslis weer hier bly.

Michelle is a very friendly and warm person, the ideal hostess. She made sure that everything in the room was to our satisfaction. She even carried our bags on arrival and when we left. The room was neat and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. We will definitely stay there again.

Relaxed, close to everything and the beach.

After having tired legs from running Comrades the day, it was nice coming 'home' to a place where we could relax and put our feet up. Michelle, the hostess, was amazing. Even supplied meds to my wife as she was not feeling well. Place was very neat, a small bar fridge was available, everything one would need for a short stay. Michelle, we will definitely be back again to stay over. You are such a bubbly person and it was lovely meeting you.

Michelle and husband are excellent hosts that go the extra mile. It made our stay relaxing and totally amazing! The booking was actually made by our children so what a wonderful surprise it was indeed!

Kan Umhlanga on the Rocks te sterkste aanbeveel. Michelle was n uitstekende en bedagsame gasvrou. Puik diens en puik waarde vir geld. Die gastehuis is so 2,2 km van die hoofstrand af en minder as 'n kilometer van die Village Mall af. Gemaklike stappies wat ek en my dogter baie geniet het! Kan nie wag om weer te gaan kuier nie.

The most beautiful guesthouse and best hostess. Michelle really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The room has the best view and is very clean, value for your money.

We will definitely go back to Umhlanga on the Rocks for a second visit. The restaurants recommended by Michelle were great and also value for your money. The guesthouse is close to everything you need in Umhlanga and beaches are so close and you have the best view from the room!

Ons het heerlik gebly in Umhlanga on the Rocks. Dit was maklik om die gastehuis te vind en om van daar na verskeie plekke te gaan en om vinnig weer terug te keer. Een kamer het geen see-uitsig nie (klein kamer), terwyl al die ander kamers ’n see-uitsig het. Die kamers is ruim. Die gasvrou is baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Ek sal weer daar gaan bly.

Ons was sedert ons bespreking op hoogte gehou deur Michelle, eienares aangaande wanneer ons verwag kan word. Ons is ook gekontak om vroeër die dag te kon inboek, wat baie vir ons beteken het, aangesien ons om 10:00 by die vorige akkommodasie moes uitboek. Baie aangename mense, wat ons onmiddellik tuis laat voel het. Baie goed geleë, ons kon stap na die besigheidsentrums en ook na die strand. Vir die kort tydjie wat ons daar was, was ons aangenaam veras deur hul besorgheid of alles na smaak is. Sal dit definitief aanbeveel vir enige iemand, en Umhlanga on the Rocks sal ons graag weer wil besoek!

We had a lovely stay and Michelle is a fantastic host.

The only downside was it was slightly small with nowhere to sit if you needed to work.

Amazing place to stay.

Umhlanga on the Rocks is one of the best places I have ever had the privilege of staying at. The host Michelle is a warm loving and caring person. She goes over and above to make you feel welcome. The rooms are a nice size for 2 people and the upstairs units has a amazing sea view. It is very close to all major restaurants and shopping malls. To some it up it's almost like going to see family that is the feeling you get when staying there. We will 100% be returning there in the near future.

Ek het hierdie plek al my vriende verwys en niemand sal verkeerd gaan om daar te bly vir vakansie nie. Omliggend van alles stand, restaurante en vele meer en baie bekostigbaar.

A Beautiful holiday.

When we arrived the TV was broken in our room so we were transferred to the luxury on suite room. A Magnificent view over the sea. The place is so close to all amenities and everybody was very friendly and helpful. Definitely return, well recommended. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

In a nutshell. Amazing.

Firstly starting with the hostess, Michelle: What a vibrant, unbelievably friendly person. Not only did we have full privacy all the time, whenever we needed any assistance or service she was available immediately. Our unit had a spectacular view of the ocean. The unit was top notch, fully equipped to cater for our every need. Guesthouse is located only a short walk to the best pubs and restaurants. This is by far the best guesthouse we stayed in and truly food to our souls. Would highly recommend.

Ons gasvrou Michelle, is voorwaar 'n persoon wat net gedurig haar gaste wil bederf. Baie dankie Michelle, ons het so tuis gevoel en ons Yorkie het dit ook geniet, want daar was oorgenoeg spasie vir hom om rond te beweeg wat ook baie veilig was. Die kamer het moderne dekor en alles wat nodig is was daar en natuurlik silwerskoon. Ons verblyf was regtig uitstekend en sal ons dit enige tyd aanbeveel.

Birthday Weekend @ the beautiful Umhlanga on the Rocks

Hubby and I booked a day at this lovely place. The Owner is a wonderful lady, who is super friendly. She literally went the extra mile in ensuring we are super well taken care of and comfortable. The home/rooms are spotless and extremely clean and neat. The security is excellent, and you feel very safe and at home.. The place is about 500 m to the beach, easily walkable. It is also very central to Gateway and various other restaurants, etc. Was simply an awesome birthday, and we all enjoyed ourselves, especially my toddler. It was super special. Will definitely see us again soon!

The host was super friendly and efficient and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Her husband went so far as to offer up space in his personal garage for my motorbike, in order to ensure that it was 100% safe and secure. Excellent establishment and owners, that make you feel most welcome and a part of the family.

Beautiful and clean accommodation

The room was really clean and nicely set up. The owner and hostess is very friendly and made you feel welcome from the get-go. It is a safe area with 24/7 security, we even took walks to the beach after 9 pm. The location is practical as it is walking distance from the beach and most of the shops. I highly recommend this listing.
