Description
Blue Crane Farm Lodge is located on the slopes of the Houwhoek mountains along the outstanding beauty of the Van Der Stel Pass, 6.4 km from Botrivier.
Accommodation is provided in 4 modern self-catering cottages that can accommodate 4 people each. The cottages comprise 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. For convenience, all bedding and towels are provided. Each living area opens up onto a verandah which has outdoor patio furniture, a wood-fired hot tub and braai facilities.
Through a serving hatch located next to the kitchen door, freshly baked bread and farm milk are provided every morning. On arrival tea, coffee, butter, rusks and 6 eggs are provided, as well as wood, firelighters, a braai-grid and the necessary braai items.
Although tucked away between the mountains, there are a huge number of attractions in and around the area and including hiking, mountain biking, flyfishing, whale watching, and a variety of wine farms.
