Casa Benri is located in Mtunzini, a beautiful coastal village on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast. Mtunzini is a declared nature conservation area, known for its pristine natural beauty, breathtaking dunes, and expansive beaches. The adjoining tropical forested nature reserve, mangrove lagoon, and clean ocean offer an incredible variety of birdlife and are a true fishing paradise. The cycling and hiking trails through the deep, green forests create a sense of tranquility, calmness, and safety.

Casa Benri offers four ground-floor self-catering units. These units are ideal for families, groups, or couples seeking a peaceful, soul-enriching getaway in a beautiful natural environment.

The units comprises either 1 or 2 bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms. All units feature fans and air-conditioning, and a washing machine is available for guests' use. The living areas lead to separate sheltered verandas and paved social areas with braai facilities. All units are fenced and have covered parking available.

Bedding, linen, and towels are available on request.

Units one, two, and three are designed to be used together, for larger groups, or separately without compromising privacy. A group of up to 10 guests can be accommodated in these units.

This unique private property is within walking distance from the village, with easy access to coastal forest walking trails, pristine beaches, the Raphia Palm Monument, and a unique, challenging golf course. Mtunzini offers various shopping facilities and restaurants, and enjoys a subtropical, malaria-free climate.

The birdlife at Casa Benri is unique and includes a wide variety of birds, including Knysna turacos, paradise flycatchers, Narina trogons, and many other bird species. Casa Benri boasts, among other things, their own extremely rare Southern Banded Snake-Eagle and Palm-nut vulture pairs that breed on the property annually.

Attractions in the area include the Ngoye Forest Reserve, a birdwatcher's paradise and stunning natural forest, as well as several game reserves such as the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, Cape Vidal, St. Lucia, and historic Eshowe. Mtunzini is close to Richards Bay, Durban, Ballito, and Gateway, and the King Shaka International Airport is approximately 100 km from Mtunzini.
