Description
Kookaburra is located a few metres away from the beach in Southbroom. Allowing guests to wake up and smell the sea breeze right from the doorstep of this beach house. This self-catering home has all the necessary amenities to make for a great beach holiday.
The house sleeps a maximum of 10 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living area, and a swimming pool. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. This bedroom opens onto a small balcony. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The third bedroom has 2 single beds and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The fourth bedroom has a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. The fifth bedroom has 2 single beds. The bedrooms are split between the main house and a detached guest suite with a separate entrance perfect for an elderly couple or teenagers.
There are 2 living areas furnished with a lounge suite and a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is also available. There’s a separate lounge that has an indoor gas braai and a long dining table with chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The sliding doors open onto the patio and further extend into the garden and swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy the lovely sea views and there’s a gate that grants guests direct beach access. Secure parking is available on-site.
The accommodation is also off-the-grid with solar panels and water tanks.
