Lekkerkry Game Farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tranquil bushveld setting with several tame wildlife species roaming around freely. The game farm is centrally located, 80 km from Johannesburg, 40 km from Potchefstroom, 50 km from the Vaal Triangle and 30 km from Parys.
This stylish thatched roof house consists of 3 bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom with a double bed plus a single bed and a third bedroom with a double bed. There is a sharing bathroom and a guest toilet. The house also consists of an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, stove, fridge and microwave. The living area has comfortable couches, a built-in fireplace and a TV with DStv. Leading out from the living area is a large patio with spectacular views of the surrounding bushveld. Outside is an open-air boma area, offering guests a relaxing atmosphere in the bushveld and a swimming pool perfect for those hot days.
Activities available on the farm include game drives, quad biking, hiking and mountain biking. Wildlife on the farm includes kudu, blue wildebeest, black wildebeest, eland, impala, springbok, red hartebeest, nyalas, zebras, wild goats, waterbuck and even some monkeys and bush pigs.
Parys and the Vredefort Dome with its fascinating shops, restaurants and pubs are just 20 minutes drive away.
