Ticked all our boxes: clean, very well appointed and quiet farm setting close to town.

The cottages are designed and appointed with a lot of attention to detail. They are new and in excellent condition. The setting is on a farm with the added bonus of some "tame" springboks in the area around the cottages. The cottages are spaced far apart so you don't notice your neighbours. The cottages were spotlessly clean for our arrival with a small surprise gift. Definitely, a place to stay if you're visiting the region and want to use Oudtshoorn as your base.

Had a great and warm second visit to Mayfair Farm Cottages during this cold winter.

I would highly recommend these cottages to anyone who would like a peaceful Karoo experience. These cottages are perfect for overnight or longer stays, not to mention the Springboks walking around bringing an even more calming atmosphere.
