Tucked away in the valley, Plaatfontein Gasteplaas is a charming self-catering cottage located on a Prince Albert farm and situated approximately 43 km from Alexandria offering an intimate escape for the whole family or a group of friends seeking rest and relaxation in tranquil surroundings.

This lovely home can accommodate 11 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and a bunk bed and the last bedroom is furnished with a single bed and a bunk bed. These bedrooms make use of 2 shared bathrooms each fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Quality linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.

The open-plan living area features a lounge, a dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, tea- and coffee-making facilities and cutlery and crockery. The dining area is furnished with a dining table suitable for 6 guests. The lounge is furnished with comfortable seating, a coffee table and a built-in fireplace.

The living area opens onto a patio, boasting stunning views of the mountain and valley. Guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience on the patio, socialise around the braai area, have a picnic in the garden or simply lounge on the outdoor furniture while soaking up the sun.
