House Rules

Evenstar Cottage has an R100 fee for DStv activation.
The cottages are serviced from Monday to Friday (Please let Lizzie know if you require this cleaning service.)
Washing (No ironing) can be done at an additional cost per load and to be paid to Lizzie.
Rainwater is harvested into Jojo tanks. It is recommended you boil the water before drinking.
Please note that children should always be supervised when swimming or entering the swimming pool area.
Please do not make “bonfires” on the deck If the weather is not suitable to braai where Weber is placed you are more than welcome to move the Weber on its mobile wheel platform. This is to avoid charcoal falling onto the wooden deck and burning through.
Please refrain from smoking indoors and use ashtrays
provided.
Please extinguish all cigarette butts in the ashtray and not in the forest.
Please turn down loud music by 10 pm to respect other guests and forest creatures who need their sleep.
Please do not throw anything besides toilet paper in the
toilets (See signs in toilet rooms).
Please note that all showers have one inlet water tap.
Turn this tap on full to allow hot water to flow.
Please do not feed the monkeys, you will be doing more
harm to them and us.
It is advisable when you go out to close windows.
Each Cottage has a fire extinguisher located in the kitchen and close to the indoor fireplace.
Please note there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation, please enquire condition prior to arrival.
