Description
The Manor House is a spacious self-catering holiday home located on Somerset Gift Getaway Farm, approximately 16.8 km outside of Swellendam. This house is ideal for a large family or group of friends who are looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.
The house can accommodate up to 10 adults and 6 children in 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The first four bedrooms are all furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 of those rooms have access to en-suite bathrooms that are fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The fifth bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and the sixth bedroom contains 6 single beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a dining table. The living area is furnished with comfortable seating, a fireplace and a TV. There is another seating area ontop of the stairs. The covered patio is furnished with outdoor furniture, a dining table and a built-in braai. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests have access to a private wood-fired hot tub, off-street parking and activities like swimming, canoeing, fishing and zip lining on the river and they can enjoy some nature walks around the property. This property is within close proximity to local shops and restaurants in Swellendam.
