Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R2000 is payable directly to the establishment.
House Rules
- The house has an inverter which runs the TV and Wi-Fi as well as 1 light in the lounge. There are rechargeable lights throughout the house for loadshedding and the stove top is gas.
- Not certified wheelchair friendly however it can be accessible as the houses is on the same level (no stair access into the house and no stairs inside the house) and the shower has small seat and handheld shower as well. Toilet has a hand bidet/spray nozzle.
- Final rental amount is to be paid to the property management company no later than 30 days/1 month before arrival, together with additional fees of R 1000 management fee and R 2000 refundable breakages deposit. For international guests only, the breakages deposit to be paid in cash on arrival, if local residents this needs to be prepaid via EFT.
- R 250 in cash upon check-in for late check-in fee if arriving after 18h00.
- A maximum of 5 people sharing in 2 bedrooms are allowed to sleep over. Please do not exceed this number on any given night.
- Children of all ages are welcome, however, please take care of small children due to height and nature of this property. There are safety barriers on the stairs or railings and no hard/safety cover on the Kol Kol Hot Tub. You need to keep an eye on small children for their safety. The owners and property management company will not be held liable in any way.
- Please bring your own baby cot and high chair with.
- Linen, bath & beach/swimming towels are provided – please do not use bath towels as beach/swimming towels.
- Uncapped wifi and full package DStv is included. The TV is a smart TV.
- Pets are allowed on the property upon prior request only, subject to owner confirmation. Pet policy applies.
- No smoking indoors, please discard of cigarettes in astray provided and not on the patio, gardens or down toilets.
- This is a high fire risk area, please NO open fires are allowed at the property and do not leave any fires unattended.
- Unruly and/or noisy behavior will result in an eviction, with no refund. No parties or events are permitted at the property. Please respect the property and your neighbors, thank-you! No loud music or noise after 22h00 please.
- Noise policy: Victoria Bay Holiday Cottage is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and part of a gated estate. We kindly request that loud music, parties or any excessive noise be avoided at all times, to preserve the serene and tranquil setting of the estate. No loud music or noise will be tolerated and the owners and property management company reserves their rights.
- A cleaning surcharge will be charged should the tenants not leave the property in reasonable condition for occupation or if check-out happens later than the specified time.
- The house has septic tanks, only human waste and toilet paper down toilets please and use septic tank friendly cleaning materials.
- Housekeeping service is not included, it is optional extra. Please advise us well in advance if you require this service as it is outsourced and subject to availability at time of enquiry.
- This accommodation is fully self-catering. Kindly provide your personal consumables.
Pet Policy applies:
- No dogs are allowed on beds or furniture
- A surcharge will be charged should we note dogs on beds/furniture to cover costs of cleaning, or if dogs messed in the house and we need to clean carpets etc. after departure
- Please keep an eye on your dogs at all times. The house has an enclosed garden with fencing. You need to accept full responsibility of your dogs and not let them wander around unattended, to cause nuisance for neigbors and their dogs
- Please clean up after your dogs i.e poop outside
- Please bring own dog beds & blankets & feeding bowls with
